Yosemite National Park will probably take you over 24 hours to explore. Park entry is about 5 minutes drive from the lodge or about 1 hour 20 minutes hike from the main entry.

Yosemite Falls are about 30 minutes drive from the lodge. Hiking to the falls from the lodge would take you about 10 hours. Prady's Viewpoint is about 20 minutes drive, or 4 hours 30 minutes hike. Glacier Point is about 35 minutes drive from the lodge.

California State Mining & Mineral Museum is about 50 minutes drive from the lodge, in Mariposa. Skydive Yosemite is within 1 hour drive from the lodge.

Taste it.

To say honestly this is a National Park area so you won't find a lot of fine dining and wine tasting here. But there are few restaurants and good Degnan's Deli, in Yosemite Village, which is within 30 minutes drive from the lodge.

The Ahwahnee Bar and The Ahwahnee Dining Room are inside Ahwahnee Resort are all within 30 minutes drive from the hotel, or 10 minutes walk from the Deli.

Taqueria Meadow Grill, Seven Tents Pavilion and Curry Village Dinina Pavilion are all about 30 minutes drive from the hotel. Curry Village Bike Rental is there as well.

The Mountain Room Lounge, The Mountain Room, Yosemite Lodge Food Court and Base Camp Eatery are all within 25 minutes drive.
