Multicultural Mountain Retreat
The rude awakening of not having a car, cab or ... walkability, would be the cultural lesson here. You can only use bus or train.
So all distances are estimated based on train or bus schedule, which is regular every 30 minutes. You also have to either speak Korean or have a good guide who does. Not everyone wants to speak English and you can be cheated.
Namsan Mountain Park and Namsan Seoul Botanical Garden are about 15 minutes train ride. As well as N Seoul Tower, Namsan Baekbeom Square,and Seosomun History Park Namsan Palgakjeong (Octagonal Pavilion). Namsangol Hanok Village.
is actually 20 minutes train/bus ride. Gyeongbokgung Palace is about 35 train ride from the hotel.
Visit Royal Palaces Center for all information on local attractions. Gwanghwamun Square is about 30-35 minutes from hotel.
Wontongsa Temple, Samgaksan Doseonsa Temple, Dobongsan Mangwolsa,
and Bukhansan National Park are all about 1 hour 48 minutes ride from the hotel.
