This is hotel in downtown. This tiny resort village is on the Lake Champlain coast. Hotel has no on-site restaurant. But they offer Farm-to-Table dinner inside dining room of the Inn. No major shopping, this is secluded resort village, with only 3 other restaurants, within short driving distance. Barn Door Tavern, located @ the Old Firehouse in Essex, NY is within 2 minutes walk from the Inn. The Red Onion Cafe it is restaurant/shop on the Vermont side, only 1 hours away: 30 minutes ferry ride and 30 minutes drive. Charlotte Village Winery is within 35 minutes ferry ride and walk, on the Vermont side. Old Dock House & Marina is also within 3 minutes walk, next to Champ Beach Taverne is about 20 minutes drive from the Inn, toward Willsboro, NY. Both are seasonal, summer/fall only, restaurants.
