BEING GREEN

Welcome to our travel world
The United States is the world's leading tea importer, with imports valued at around $520 million in 2023. The US imports tea from many countries.
There are no restrictions or quotas on import of tea, spices, or coffee, whether bottled, packaged, or brewed. There is no limit to the amount of these products you can import into the U.S., but some products that contain these ingredients (e.g. sauces, syrups, soups, etc.)
DO YOU KNOW WHO
GROWS and DELIVERS
YOUR MORNING TEA?
Where did your leaves came from?
China has the most number of the tea plantations,
however, they do not have any websites and
must be visited in-person only with local guides.
I did not list any Chinese plantations,
but most of them are located in
Sichuan, Shaanxi, Henan, Shandong,
Jiangsu and Anhui Prefecture of China.
In China they are called "Tea Gardens."
