Bazaruto Archipelago National Marine Park is basically next door to the hotel. Protected archipelago of 5 islands, home to flamingos, crocodiles, turtles & dugongs (seacows). There is not much to do on the island except swim, dive and enjoy water sports. This is an ecologically clean resort and island. Resort offers multiple relaxation options, which you can find here.

There are only 3 resorts on this island and each has at least one restaurant. Pestana Resort on the north end of the island has Restaurant Flamingo and Sunset Bar. You can either walk or take a boat to the resort from Anantara. Zenguelemo Lodge is near the western side of the island and has Zenga Restaurant and Zenga Zenga Bar.

Because all of the food on the island must be brought from the mainland, prior advanced reservations are required in every restaurant. There are also some restaurants you can visit on the mainland before boarding the plane. They all about 1 hour boat ride from the island. The Bazaruto Brewing Company, Vilanculos Beach Lodge and Restaurant, Samara restaurant, Jenny's Bar Restaurant & Guest Rooms, Telvina Beach Lodge Restaurante e Acomodação, and many more that do not have any web presence.
