Lake Placid Olympic Museum located about 5 minutes walk  from the hotel. Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Cloudsplitter Gondola and  are Little Whiteface Mountain are about 15 minutes drive from the hotel. Flume Falls are also about 15 minutes drive from the hotel. 

High Falls Gorge is within 12 minutes drive.​ Adirondack Sleigh Rides open during winter and are about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Ray Brook Brewhouse is within 8 minutes drive, Big Slide Brewery & Public House is within 27 minutes walk or 4 minutes drive from the hotel. Lake Placid Marina is about 25 minutes walk from then hotel, on the shore. This is hotel close to downtown, with on-site Generations Tap & Grill restaurant. It is located on the shore, yet in downtown, close to major shopping, with many other restaurants, within walking distance. Biggest Shopping center in the area is Marshalls ® store and shopping plaza. It is about 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
