Greece is well known as major Orthodox Pilgrimage site. You can find ancient Orthodox Monasteries hidden all over these mountains. This area of Greece is often called "Greek Switzerland", for its mountain slopes.​

​Prousos Monastery​ is about 55 minutes drive from the hotel. Domianos Monastery is within about 1 hour drive, in the village of Domiani, Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior of Vracha is in the village of Vracha is about 1 hour 20 minute drive. Holy Monastery Panagia Stana is within 1 hour 50 minutes drive from the hotel.

Pantavrechi Gorge & Canyon Waterfalls are 1 hour 35 minutes drive from the hotel. Amazing mountains to visit.  Hellas Canyon site has many guided tours and  treks for Greek Mountains Canyoning. This small town has 8 museums you can visit within short walking distance. 

Visit Karpenissi has all local activities listed in one place and more mountain tracks. ​​Velouchi Ski Snow Centre S.A. is within 18-20 minutes drive from the hotel. Velouchi Dragon Lake is also about 18 minutes drive. Its is very nice meditation spot, if you like to do it in the mountains.
