Samoa Dunes & Wetlands and Humboldt Coastal Nature Center  within 17 minutes drive. Arcata Community Forest is only 15 minutes drive from the hotel. Natural History Museum and Architectural Tours of Arcata is only 12 minutes drive.

There are few interesting spiritual places to visit near Arcata:  Oyeku Ofun Temple,  Arcata Zen Group are within 15 minutes drive. Rangjung Yeshe Gomde California is little farther away, near  Leggett and famous Drive Through Tree, both are about 1 hour 55 minutes drive from Blue Lake. 

Alice's Restaurant is basically on site. Mad River Brewing Co and Logger Bar are 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Sea Grill is Eureka is about 25 minutes drive from the hotel.  South G Kitchen , Redwood Curtain Brewing Company and El Chipotle Mexican & American Food is in Arcata, 15 minutes drive from the hotel.

Slice Of Humboldt Pie, Cafe Mokka, The Pub at The Creamery, Renata's Crêperie  and Los Bagels are all within 12-15 minutes drive.
