Solang Valley Ski Resort, popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh Manali, is about 6 hours drive from McLeod Ganj. This would be about 10 minutes drive from the first hotel for your trip. Bhrigu Lakeis about 1 hour 10 minute drive from the hotel.

Jogini Falls are within 25 minutes drive from the hotel. There are many waterfall actually along the the way to and from McLeod Ganj to Solang Valley. The Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery is about 1 hour and 10 minutes drive from the first hotel in Solang Valley. Waichin Valley, Malana Dam or "Magic Valley", is within 2 hours 55 minutes drive from first hotel. These first 5 days is to explore nature only.

Great Himalayan National Park is about 5 hours drive from McLeod Ganj, about 1 hour before/from your second hotel. Dharamshala Skyway is about 10 minutes walk from the second hotel. Start of the Kora Circuit, Dalai Lama Temple, Tsuglagkhang Complex, Namgyal Monastery, Dalai Lama temple, Circumambulation Way Dalai Lama Temple and Kalachakra temple are all within 15 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Tibetan Medical & Astro Institute Museum is within 12 minutes drive. Nechung Monastery is within 15 minutes drive, next to The Tibet Museum. Norbulingka Instituteis within 35 minutes drive from the hotel. Thosamling Nunnery and Institute is within 49 minutes drive from the hotel. On the way to the airport or from the airport to the hotel, you can stop in Punjab, to take a break in 6 hour drive, see the Sarovar Anandpur Sahib and Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum.

Each hotel has an on-site restaurant, but there are many more to check within walking distance. Radisson hotel has Burans Restaurant for families and Beaside Restaurant & Bar for dinner only are both  on-site. Shopping, with many other restaurants, within short walking and long driving distance are available. However, this is where most restaurants do not have websites, you can only visit in person.

​Only few restaurants have online presence near Manali. Ride Inn Cafe and Cafe 1947 are both about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Smokehouse By Braaicraft - Manali is about 8 minutes drive. The Avalon Cafe is about 7 minutes drive, 

There are almost no restaurants in the mountains with websites, this is a list from tripadvisor with some restaurants listed near Manali. Otherwise, it is a place for your to explore local culinary arts yourself and be the first to report.

McLeod Ganj has more restaurants with websites, but still very few.​ Labooze Cafe Bar Lounge Mcleodganj, is about 5 minutes walk from the Belvedere Hotel. Jimmys Italian Kitchen in McLeodGanj is about 10 minutes walk.

Jimmy’s Asian Kitchen - McLeodGanj is about 8 minutes walk. Kalsang Cafe and Restaurant is only 7 minutes walk, restaurant The Other Space is about 20 minutes walk. Falak Roof Top Restaurant is within 17 minutes drive.
