Farthest away from the hotel is village of Ladenburg, it is about 15 minutes drive via Hwy. Ladenburg preserved many historical buildings, all the way from 1400th & up. You can see many of the original built in dates embedded on the building front. The Carl Benz House in downtown Ladenburg is his mini-museum and Mercedes-Benz Cars museum are both about 15 minutes drive from Heidelberg. They still preserved a part of Roman Empire original ruins, with place of gladiator fights. Visit Lobdengau-Museum.  Schwetzingen Palace is about 16 minutes drive from the hotel. 

Schloss Heidelberg (Castle) is about 12 minutes drive from the hotel, there is a lot to explore in the area, like German Pharmacy Museum and local Heidelberg mini-funicular, Bergbahn Station Molkenkur. 

Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory & Max Planck Institute for Astronomy are about 15 drive, up the mountains about 4 minutes away from the Castle. Carl Bosch Museum is within 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

Body Worlds Museum is about 22 minutes walk from the hotel.​ Heidelberg Botanical Garden and Heidelberg Zoo are both about 30 minutes walk or 7 minutes drive from the hotel. 

Philosophers’ Way Trail  is about 30 minutes walk from the hotel or about 7 minutes drive, and famous Hitler's open-air amphitheatre

Heiligenberganlage - Thingstätte, is about 26-30 minutes walk via Philosopher's trail.

Michaelskloster Heiligenberg  (St. Michael's Monastery) ruins are also about the same distance. Unfortunately, you can not get there any other way except by foot.
