Peru Rail, Estación Ferroviaria Wanchaq Station is within 5 minute walk from the hotel. Train trip on Andean Explorer from Cusco to Machu Picchu takes about 4 hours 20 minutes on way, and it costs about $500.00 round trip per person for Vistadome Observatory seats, with panoramic view. Full Summer Schedule (May-December) is available here. 

To get from the Machu Picchu train station (Aguas Calientes) to the top of Machu Picchu, you'll need to take a bus or walk uphill. The Consettur bus takes about 30 minutes, while walking takes approximately 2 hours. You need at last 3 hours to explore the top plato. So consider this when you book a train ticket. If you arrive at 9:00 am, you probably want to book a 4:30 pm ticket back. Not earlier.

Saqsaywaman, one of many archeological sites is within 15 minutes drive, Q'enco Archaeological Complex is about 18 minutes drive. Puka Pukara Archaeological Complex is within 25 minutes drive. Morada De Los Dioses is within 35 minutes drive from the hotel.

Cusco Planetarium is within 15 minutes drive.  Museo de Sitio Qorikancha  is within 10 minutes walk. Destilería Andina is about 1 hour 55 minutes drive from the hotel. Awana Kancha alpaca museum is within 40 minutes drive. Cocla Tours chocolate plantation exploration organizer is within 15 minutes drive from the hotel.

There are multiple restaurants in the area, but only few have a websites. and most of then are within 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel.

A Mi Manera restaurant and Morena are within 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Paddy's Irish Pub  and Restaurant Inkazuela are within about 19 minutes walk. Jacks's Caffe Cusco is only about 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
