You can take a Swiss Railways (SBB/CFF/FFS) train from Geneva to Champery. The train from Geneva to Champery departs from Genève station and arrives at Aigle station, where you can transfer to the AOMC train to Champery. It takes approximately 2 hours 59 minutes.

Champéry (Les Portes du Soleil) ski resort is about  10 minutes walk from the hotel. Gandola station to Marcheuson  and Les Crosets (Portes du Soleil) is only 2 cable car rides up, from the Champéry village. It will take you about 35 minutes to get all the way up, to Le Crosets.

 This area is comprised of 6 separate resort villages, all connected via train and cable cars: Champery, Champoussin, Les Crosets, Morgins, Troistorrents and Val-d’Illiez, that all offer year around outdoor activities, including many in a  summer.  This is a typical resort area, with little shopping, only local and many restaurants.

Passerelle Belle-Étoile is about 1 hour walk of 10 minutes drive from the hotel. 

Via Ferrata de Tière  are about 10 minutes drive or 1 hour 10 minutes hike  from the hotel.

This is hotel is close to Gondola station, about 6 minutes walk. Hotel has on-site restaurant The Vieux-Chalet.

Shopping, with many other restaurants, within short driving and walking distance are available. Most restaurants in the area don't have a websites, you have to visit.​

Cantine Sur Coux is about 10 minutes drive. Le 42 Restaurant is within 9 minutes walk, Le Farinet Restaurant-Pub-Dancing à Champery is only 5 minutes walk, Le bistrot du Palladium is 4 minutes walk, Bistrot des reines is next door to the hotel.
