George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History is about 5 minutes drive from the hotel. Acadia National Park entry is within 3 minutes drive from the hotel. 

Somesville Museum and Gardens are within 15 minutes drive.  Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co is within about 25 minutes walk.  Thunder Hole is within about 20 minutes drive.

Bass Harbor Head Light Station is 35 minutes drive from the hotel, on the other side of the harbor. 

Otherwise there, is not much to do, except enjoy love, ocean, lobsters and nature.

This is hotel close to downtown. Hotel does not have an on-site restaurants. Major shopping, with many other restaurants, within walking distance.​ There are two  days spas near by: Tree of Life Day Spa Inc.  is 15 minutes walk from the hotel, and Spa at the Bar Harbor Inn,  within 10 minutes walk. Bar Harbor Lobster Co. is basically next door to the hotel. Havana & Parilla Patio is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The Barnacle it is within only 6 minutes walk and third The Loft Raw Bar and Seafood Grill, it is within 10 minutes walking distance.​ Brasserie LeBrun is within 15 minutes walk. Veranda at Balance Rock Inn is  within 7 minutes walk. Reading Room Restaurant within 15 minutes walk. Thirsty Whale Tavern is about 12 minutes walk from the hotel. ​Biggest Shopping center in the area is  Bayside Landing is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, but this downtown is filled with many small shops, they are everywhere.
