Where did your wine came from?
Italy, Piedmont Region has the most number of Barbera ® growers in the world. How is Barbera ® different? It is a high elevation wine, it grows well in the dry mountain climate, it requires less water consumption. It has a cherry and fruity
notes. It goes well with any mushroom dish, any vegetarian dish and pizza, bread and past dish, cheese and anti-pasta plates,
as well as pork. In my humble opinion this wine pairs the best with sheep cheese, like Manchego ®.
Any wine rated 78% ore more will never give you a headache or hangover effect. I described wineries that grow and
produce Barbera ® in Australia, Argentina, Brazil and Italy.
In USA, I really like the port style mixed red blend called "Fortissimo". It has been produced in Amador and Calaveras County, California and sold by Black Sheep Winery ®.

Sunshine Coast is about 2 hours drive from the winery. You can visit many interesting things there. SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium, Point Cartwright Lighthouse and Amaze World are all on the coast. Wildlife HQ and Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World are all about 2 hours and 20 minutes drive from the Winery Estate.
