Akaka Falls State Park  is about  35 minutes drive from the hotel. Botanical World Adventuresare about 30 minutes drive. Hawai‘i Tropical Botanical Garden and Hawaii Zipline Tours are within 25 minutes drive.

Waiakea Forest Reserve is about  35 minutes drive, Panaewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens is about 30 minutes drive. Kaumana Caves and Wai'ale Falls are both within 20 minutes drive from the hotel. Imiloa Astronomy Centeris about 20 minutes drive. Rainbow Falls are within 17 minutes drive. ​Mokupāpapa Discovery Center is about 15 minutes drive from the hotel.

This is hotel close to downtown. Hotel has NO on-site restaurant, but they have plenty of options near by.  Liko Lehua Cafe is about 15 minutes drive. Lavaloha Chocolate - Farm Tours is within 6 minutes drive.

The Tiki Turtle Cafe and Pete's Belly Bustazs are only 16 minutes drive.  Ken's House of Pancakes,  Hawaiian Style Cafe Hilo  and Kuhio Grille - Home Of The Famous 1lb Laulau are 10 minutes drive. Ling's Chop Suey House, Lehua Restaurant, and Kalbi Express  are within 25 minutes drive  from the hotel.  

Shopping, with many other restaurants, within short driving and walking distance are available. Most restaurants in the area don't have a websites, you have to visit.
